What is it?

DigiSHOW.ems (Event Management System) is a scheduling package that can be used to control the whole range of DigiSHOW products, as well as supporting many everyday Windows related tasks.

More detail...

By simply editing a standard text file with event times such as "at / hourly / daily", system commands such as "run / copy / delete" can be executed at any time or on a calendar rotational basis. This can be chosen by the user to suit its purpose.

DigiSHOW.ems supports the other DigiSHOW products by exploiting their use of 'script files'. Events such as video playback, live video feed in, or satellite transmission can be prompted by interchanging the respective programs' script files by use of the "copy" command.

DigiSHOW.ems provides a core engine for the scheduling of events which can be supplemented with custom add in software components written by Future Software Ltd, to meet customer specific requirements.

All actions carried out by ems are logged with the date and time of execution in chronological order, which is a useful tool for performance monitoring.

.ems Edit Software DigiSHOW.ems has its own Editor, which is a graphical user interface, for adding and removing events. All events to be executed are listed with the time and date and description and any optional comments added by the user. There are a variety of commands to allow the user to schedule an event to be executed on a specific date and at a specific time.
